“ Restaurant Week continued with a delicious lunch at Osteria. Very comfortable environment with a fantastic staff. Vicki was very knowledgeable about a wine selection and a very attentive, personable, quality server. Very tasty Tomato Bisque and Caesar Salad. We had heard about the Grilled Salmon and it did not disappoint! Perfect ending Raspberry drizzled Cannolis with a refreshing Italian Toscany white. this place! ”

“ Had reservation but showed up 15min early thinking I would have to wait a little. Instantly greeted with friendly staff and was seated literally immediately. Started off with the Lobster Sliders Im picky on lobster rolls since Im more of a crab person these were without a doubt the best Ive ever had. I would have been please ordering 2 sets just as a meal there were perfection. Wife ordered a bowl of the Lobster Bisque. Creamy, flavorful, full off chunks of lobster, and the pastry on top was a nice addition. Wifes entree was Mushroom Alfredo Rigatoni. Great portion size, creamy, rich and flavorful. Her only issue was there were a couple mushroom stems that were too tough to eat. I ordered Osteria Cioppino Fettuccine. Rich thick sauce, great ratio of spice, and loaded with seafood on top of fresh made fettuccine. I loved every bit of it. Finished off with Peanut Butter Creme Brulee the crunch on top was flawless, the smooth peanut butter flavor was surprisingly great, but the chocolate truffle center for us was very strong were not huge on chocolate but still tasted nice in small nibbles Croissant Bread Pudding. For a bread pudding this was the best Ive had and the ice cream on top was a great additive to the treat. To end the night we will 100 be back, everybody was friendly, tentative, and the food was fantastic and well priced. I will without a doubt drive 40min any day for these lobster sliders ”

“ Our waitress blue hair was AMAZING. She was so patient and attentive. The food was spectacular. We had the carbonara which was exelent and the kids had the burger and fries which were also delicious. They even gave me a plain mashed carrot for my baby. Really great first impression, awesome lunch! ”

“ I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about Osteria Italian Seafood. In a time when Ive surfed a wave of negative dining experiences, both in subpar service and lessthandesirable food quality, it was so refreshing to be able to write a glowing review of one of Louisvilles newer restaurants. The moment we entered the establishment, we were promptly greeted and ushered to our table. Our server for the evening, Chrissy, was absolutely phenomenal. Not only was she friendly and pleasant, she was also very knowledgeable and informative about the menu options. Her service throughout the meal was an A, and the support staff was just as good. Drinks were refilled before they were empty, and the meal service moved at an appropriate pace. Even the manager stopped by our table just to check on us and see if we needed anything. We started with the Garlic Herb Monkey Bread, which was a hot, soft, and delightful pullapart treat, and more than enough for the table. The wedge salad was fresh and a generous amount, served with a creamy buttermilk dressing. Some of the entrees ordered were the Mushroom Alfredo Rigatoni, to which I added shrimp, and the Lasagna Rotolo. Both were prepared to perfection, and were served with Italian bread. There were several desserts that I would have loved to sample, but we just couldnt eat another bite. Overall, an incredible experience, and well definitely be back. ”

“ This may be the most elegant redo of any restaurant that Ive seen in town. Osteria is an Italian seafood restaurant. The interior is elegant and gorgeous. It has a very comfortable blue white theme throughout the restaurant and its done so well. You can come here regardless of the hour and it will be an elegant experience. On this occasion, I was here for lunch, I was seated promptly for our reservation. Our server dropped by to check in on me and made sure to fill our water glasses. The cocktail menu had quite a few options. I had to get the Sicilian spritz, the server told me that it had a really great presentation. He wasnt joking. It was also a really great flavor. It was probably one of the best versions of aperol spritz that Ive had in town. For an appetizer, my friend and I split the goat cheese bruschetta it was so flavorful. It comes with about five pieces, which is enough for a table of four as well. Well if you want to share because honestly, it could be someones entree as well for lunch, I got the vegetable frittata. Now I dont normally get frittata at restaurants, but this one was different. It had potatoes, mushrooms, cheese and arugula to top it off. It was so tasty and flavorful. I was very pleasantly surprised. They did a beautiful job. My friend ordered the lobster sliders for her entree and they also looked decadent. For dessert, my friend just had her birthday so we got strawberry shortcake. The flavors were wonderful, the ambiance was out of this world and our server was the best. Will go back. ”

“ My colleagues and I recently enjoyed a business luncheon at Osteria. The food is very reasonably priced given its quality, preparation, and the attentive service they provide. We shared appetizers jumbo shrimp cocktail, warm goat cheese, and spinach and artichoke dip all of which were good the standout was the shrimp cocktail. I had the beets and burrata salad for my main entree I added blackened salmon the salad was absolutely delicious! I will definitely get it again however may forgo adding a protein the blackened salmon didnt wow me, or may try another protein. My only criticism is their blue velvety chairs they sink when you sit in them which felt strange however I did get used to it. Aside from that, I was impressed and am looking forward to returning soon. ”

“ If I could give Osteria 10 stars I would! I made a reservation online and requested a quiet spot for my mother and 2 of her siblings to eat and catch up with each other. They are in their 80s, dont hear or walk well, and my uncle has dementia and gets agitated at times. We were immediately greeted and taken to a lovely, quiet spot. I wish I knew the waiters name because he was caring, helpful, considerate, and above all, KIND. I hope he reads this and knows that we as a family are thankful for this. When our food came out, we were AMAZED at the presentation of the Lobster Bisque. That amazement was then topped by the taste of the food. It was incredible! Everyone loved their meals. The entire experience was fantastic. My uncle and his family are in Lexington and they were impressed and want to come back again. ME TOO!!! Do yourself a favor and go to Osteria! ”
